Mahama Made Moves To Stop Asiedu Nketsia From Contesting Me- Ofosu Ampofo Reveals

Mahama Tried To Stop Asiedu Nketsia From Contesting
The incumbent NDC Chairman, Chairman Ofosu Ampofo, who is seeking re-election for the National Chairman position, has dropped some startling revelations about the behind-the-scenes discussion in the NDC. According to him, some top members of the NDC had made moves to stop the incumbent General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketsia, from contesting the National Chairmanship position.
Ofosu Ampofo went ahead to state that the Former President, John Dramani Mahama, had made efforts to stop Asiedu Nketsia from making such a move. He described the decision by Asiedu Nketsia to contest the Chairmanship position as an incorrect political decision.
“As far as I’m concerned, Asiedu Nketsia’s decision to contest me was not necessary. This move is a wrong move. It is not a politically correct decision. And there were moves by the council of elders. His Excellency, John Dramani Mahama himself made moves to stop it”, he said.
During the interview, Ofosu Ampofo explained that he had suffered for the party and that some people have always wanted to disgrace him. He reminisced how some people recorded him during a meeting and leaked it to the NPP
