McBrown Is Bigger Than UTV – Oboy Siki
The news of Nana Ama McBrown’s departure from UTV to ONUA TV has caused quite a stir on social media, and Ghanaian star Oboy Siki has added his voice to the conversation.
While some employees of Despite Media have criticized McBrown for leaving, others have claimed that her former employers played a significant role in developing her as a better television presenter.
However, Ola Michael, Abena Moet, and Kwame Nkrumah Tikese, who are prominent figures in Despite Media, have been promoting an ungrateful attitude on social media. In response to their assertions, Oboy Siki has criticized them and urged them to stop talking nonsense as their reasoning is unfounded.
In an exclusive interview with Alexis De Godson, Oboy Siki, known for his acrimonious nature, boldly declared that Nana Ama McBrown is bigger than UTV. He claimed that it was Nana Ama McBrown who made UTV popular, not the other way around.
The actor, with over three decades of experience in the film industry, further argued that Nana Ama McBrown was already a well-known star before joining UTV.
Hence, claims that the media helped establish her as a household name should be disregarded.
During the interview, Oboy Siki mentioned that Nana Ama McBrown was operating in a “risk zone” because of her commentators, Kwame A Plus and Bulldog, who have occasionally got her into trouble with their statements.
The discussion about Nana Ama McBrown leaving UTV for ONUA TV has divided opinions on social media. However, one thing is certain – Nana Ama McBrown is a star, and her contribution to the Ghanaian entertainment industry cannot be overlooked. As fans of her work, we can only hope that she continues to shine and bring joy to her audience, no matter where she goes.
