Prophet Kumchacha one of the popular Ghanaian pastors, has revealed that the well-known and patronized Atwea Mountains have been invaded by evil spirits.
Atwea Mountains have been one sacred place in Ghana where men of God and Christians seeking the face of God travel to pray and wait upon the Lord. Prophet Kumchacha made the assertion of the presence of Evil spirits while speaking on Kingdom FM, which was monitored by GhanaEducation.org
Prophet Nicholas Osei aka Kumchacha has disclosed that the Atwea Mountains have lost its glory and that the place where people go to seek the face of God is now full of evil spirits. The popular Atwea Mountains is situated in the Sekyere Central District of the Ashanti region.
It remains one of the most visited highlands in Ghana by Christian pilgrims, where they hold prayers and conventions.
According to historians, the Act began so many decades ago when one local Methodist pastor in Atwea named Abraham Osei-Assibey climbed the Atwea Bour (Atwea Stone) to go and pray to the Lord.
But the Man of God questioned the existence of the supposed holy ground and wondered if people still go there. Does Atwea Mountain still exists, what am I going to do there? Does God live in the mountains?
“All the good Angels that dwelt in the place some years ago have left, leaving the evil spirits. So anyone who goes there goes to pick evil spirits and witchcraft”, Prophet Kumchacha said in an interview with Kingdom FM.
According to the controversial man of God, the place which used to be a holy ground has now become a prostitution ground.
