3. Before you proceed to apply to a college or university, make sure that you have taken the English Language Proficiency test. Mainly, IELTS is the preferred one, but some colleges or institutions accept TOEFL.
Moreover, you need to go under training before you can take any of these tests. You have to choose the test, pay for the fee, and then you book a date for test.
4. Now, after taking your IELTS or TOEFL, you can proceed to apply to the college or university. Also, note that, some colleges or universities have an application fee which ranges from a hundred dollars to two hundred dollars.

5. Now, after receiving your acceptance letter, proceed to apply for your study permit. The study permit can be applied online, or you visit the Canadian visa centre in your country. You need to have the following documents before you head to apply for your study permit; valid passport, acceptance letter, proof that you can support yourself upon your arrival in Canada (proof of finance).

6. Once your study permit, has been approved by the immigration officer, you need to start planning for your travel. On your study permit, a date will be given to enter Canada, but, you can enter the county 90 days before the start of your course.
Once, you are done with all these, the final step is to get the final approval from the immigration officers at the airport.
