Nana Aba Anamoah descends heavily on American woman for pushing a false narrative of Ghana

American woman who called Ghana dirty.

Nana Aba Anamoah, a veteran media personality, has retaliated against an American woman believed to be a member of the Latter-Day Saints after the latter described Ghana as a filthy and impoverished country.

In a viral video, the American, identified as Jessie Clark Funk, revealed how her experience in Ghana gave her the impression that Ghanaians, whom she described as poverty-stricken, hungry, and living in filth, would prefer the church donate its resources to their welfare rather than building magnificent temples of worship.

In response to Clark Funk’s comments on her official Instagram page, the General Manager of the EIB network warned her against pushing a false narrative of Ghana for her personal gain and urged her to stop giving the impression that Ghanaians are hostile to the Church of Latter-day Saints.

“Here you are, @jessieclarkfunk,” she wrote. I knew I’d track you down. Your lies about Ghana made you appear less intelligent. That we despise Mormons? Are you all right, Madam? Nobody dislikes your temple. The neighborhood in which your temple (the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) is located in Accra (Ridge) is one of the wealthiest, most peaceful, and most prestigious.

“I’ll forgive your imbecilic comments about the poverty-stricken and hungry people you claim you saw around that temple and assume you just wanted to appear relevant. Instead, you appeared pitiful.”

Nana Aba also educated her on the realities of life in Ghana.

“Indeed, we have poor people here, just like your country. Many Americans make their homes in cars, shacks, tents, and boxes. It’s 2023. Grow a pair. It’s time to unlearn the truckload of lies about Africa that you’ve been fed by some of your country’s painfully lazy media platforms.”

“I’m willing to help you speak sensibly about a country that’s been kind to your ilk, church, and any other organization from your country,” she added.

To be honest, they’d be shocked to hear you say such things about Ghanaians. “You people need to stop making Africa a victim of your incredibly stupid agenda,” parts of her Instagram post read.
