The 30th October Address to the Nation on the Economy was a glorious opportunity for President Nana Addo to breathe hope into the worried citizenry instead he seemed to have left everyone disappointed. Social media went crazy minutes after the address as many have stated that Nana Addo is Short of Ideas.
For many who listened to the address, there was absolutely nothing new in the speech. The #HopeForGhanaEconomy address seemed to have left many disappointed. Although the president in his address outlined five critical actions to be taken to save the economy which included the expected “Fresh inflows of dollars are providing liquidity to the foreign exchange market, and addressing the pipeline demand”, ordinary Ghanaians feel the current situation will only get worse.
The president in his address indicated that Ghanaians were not paying their taxes well that’s why Ghana is in this economic crisis and the country does not have enough revenue to meet its expenditures.
“Everything Nana Addo said in his address is a lie, an insult to the intelligence of Ghanaians, and a gross display of arrogance & incompetence. He took responsibility for nothing and only wanted to come across as that guy who’s on top of issues. He’s living in a fool’s paradise.” This is the first reaction of

When you compare Mahama’s address to Nana Addo’s own, you’ll realize Mahama’s message was clear & measured, well thought through & sound. Nothing plagiarised. Body language in sink showing he owns his message, he’s not reading scripts written for him like our Fellow Ghanaians😭😂
