New Force Face Behind Political Movement has Been Unmasks

The man known as Cheddar or Freedom Jacob Caesar, Nana Kwame Bediako, has emerged as the driving force behind the political movement called the New Force.
The disclosure came after a planned public lecture event, “The Convention,” organized under the New Africa Foundation brand name, was unexpectedly cancelled.
Cheddar, speaking after the cancellation of “The Convention,” expressed his desire to use the event to unveil himself, discuss his policies, and explain his aspirations to lead Ghana presidency.
He had initially intended to make the revelation at the right time but decided to unmask himself prematurely due to the circumstances surrounding the cancellation.

The public lecture event, which aimed to bring thought leaders from Africa together to discuss key challenges facing the continent’s development, faced denial of access to the Independence Square at the last hour, leading to its cancellation.

Supporters of the New Force had gathered at the venue, demanding access for “The Convention.”
In a press statement issued by the New Africa Foundation, it was explained that the government had cancelled the Pan-African event, causing shock and disappointment to the dignitaries and special guests who had flown in from around the world.
The event had received government approval in November 2023.
Following the cancellation, a press conference was organized by the leaders of the Convention in Cantonments, Accra.

Professor P.L.O. Lumumba expressed his disappointment at the interruption but emphasized that the message of hope for Africa would continue with the youth.
He described the event as “serendipity” and envisioned similar gatherings happening in various African cities in the future, promoting closer interaction on the continent.
