Diddy denies sex trafficking and assault allegations by Cassie

Diddy denies Allegations Cassie

Renowned rapper and music mogul Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, is vehemently denying disturbing Allegations of sex trafficking and assault made against him by R&B singer Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura. The lawsuit, filed in a New York court, alleges a decade-long pattern of trafficking, rape, drug-related coercion, and physical abuse inflicted by Diddy on Cassie.

Cassie, the one accusing diddy of sex assault contends that she was introduced to Diddy’s “ostentatious, fast-paced, and drug-fueled lifestyle” shortly after signing with his label in 2005. The abuse, as per the lawsuit, began soon after, with Cassie claiming she endured rape, drug manipulation, and severe beatings over the course of their tumultuous relationship.

The legal filing also includes allegations that Diddy forced his way into Cassie’s home and raped her as their relationship was unraveling in 2018. In response to the lawsuit, Cassie released a statement saying, “After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships.”

Diddy’s legal team swiftly issued a counterstatement, vehemently denying the “offensive and outrageous allegations.” They further stated that Cassie’s initial demand for $30 million under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship was rejected as “blatant blackmail.”

The lawyers argued that, despite withdrawing the initial threat, Cassie has now resorted to filing a lawsuit filled with “baseless and outrageous lies” with the intention of tarnishing Diddy’s reputation.

Diddy, 54, holds significant influence in the hip-hop industry and has been a prominent figure in the music business for three decades. In 2023, he released his fifth studio album, “The Love Album: Off the Grid,” which garnered two Grammy nominations. Diddy and Cassie began dating in 2007, maintaining an on-and-off relationship for over a decade.

Cassie gained recognition for her hit single “Me & U,” produced by Ryan Leslie, which topped the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs chart in 2006. The song served as the lead single from her self-titled debut studio album.

As the legal proceedings unfold, these serious allegations cast a shadow over the careers of both Diddy and Cassie, raising concerns about the personal and professional implications for both parties involved.

The Man involved in Paul Pelosi `s Assault

The Man involved in Paul Pelosi `s Assault?

A Canadian Man Convicted of Assault and Attempted Kidnapping Faces Prison Term for Brutal Assault on Paul Pelosi Family.

In a gripping legal saga that unfolded at the Phillip Burton Federal Courthouse in San Francisco, a jury has found David DePape guilty of assaulting and attempting to kidnap former US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi. The incident, which occurred on October 28 of the previous year, left the 83-year-old victim hospitalized for six days with a fractured skull and other injuries.

DePape, The Man involved in Paul Pelosi `s Assault, a Canadian citizen residing in the US for two decades, tearfully apologized for the attack during his Tuesday testimony. The gravity of the charges against him, including assault and attempted kidnapping of a federal official, could result in a substantial 50-year prison sentence.

As the week-long trial concluded on Thursday, DePape received the unanimous guilty verdict from the jury. Throughout the proceedings, he maintained a solemn demeanor, keeping his eyes down and fidgeting with his fingers as the verdict was read aloud.

The chilling attack was captured on video, revealing DePape breaking into the Pelosi home with a hammer. Once inside, he inquired about Mrs. Pelosi, who, fortunately, was not present at the time. Responding to a 911 call from Mr. Pelosi, officers arrived to find both men gripping a hammer. When ordered to drop the weapon, DePape swung the hammer at Mr. Pelosi before being subdued by officers, as depicted in body camera footage presented in court.

FBI special agent testimony revealed that the footage showed the man striking Mr.  Paul Pelosi three times during the assault. In his own account, Mr. Pelosi recounted DePape’s alarming statement during the attack, expressing his intention to “take out” Mrs. Pelosi, referring to her as “the leader of the pack.”

Despite DePape’s court-appointed lawyer, Jodi Linker, arguing that her client was motivated by right-wing conspiracy theories, prosecutors contended that the assailant was executing a “plan of violence.” DePape’s possession of zip ties and duct tape at the time of his arrest, along with statements indicating a “target list” and plans to hold Mrs. Pelosi captive, reinforced the prosecution’s case.

Now facing up to 20 years for attempted kidnapping and an additional 30 years for assault on a federal official’s family member, DePape is also confronting separate state charges, including attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and residential burglary. If convicted on these more serious charges, he could face life in prison.

In a statement from Mrs. Pelosi’s office, her husband was praised for demonstrating “extraordinary composure and courage” throughout the legal proceedings. As the state proceedings unfold, the statement affirms Mr. Pelosi’s ongoing recovery, emphasizing that no further comments will be made.

US Attorney Ismail Ramsey, speaking outside the court, emphasized the importance of the verdict, stating that regardless of political beliefs, physical attacks against members of Congress or their families will not be tolerated. The outcome of this trial sends a clear message that justice prevails in protecting public figures and their loved ones from acts of violence.

Germans turn to the condom over the Pill on health concerns

Germans are turning increasingly to condoms and away from the contraceptive Pill as their preferred way to avoid pregnancy, according to a new study by a state-funded health agency.

The study by the Cologne-based Federal Centre for Health Education published on Thursday found that 53% of the 1,001 sexually active respondents aged 18 to 49 who were surveyed were using condoms. Just 38% were using an oral contraceptive.

In 2007, the figures were virtually the reverse, with 55% on the Pill and 36% using the sheath.

Other methods, such as the intrauterine device or spiral, sterilization or the rhythm method – in which a woman tracks her menstrual cycle – were considerably less popular.

According to the survey, reservations about the used of hormonal contraception are on the rise, with 61% of women and men agreeing with the statement that artificial hormones have “negative effects on the body and the mind.” In 2018, the figure was just 48%.

Asked for their most important criteria, 39% said reliability, 30% simplicity of use, and 25% good tolerance.

Some 70% said they used contraception, with 73% of women saying they sourced their information from gynaecological consultation, and 49% of men from the internet.

The Pill is reliable and relatively easy to use, although it has to be taken at the same time every day. Side-effects may occur.

Condoms are also reliable, provided they are used properly, and are inexpensive. In addition, they provide protection against sexually transmitted infections.

In the heart of Ghana’s lush countryside, a brave farmer whose name is yet to be known has become an unlikely hero after facing down and defeating a massive 7-foot python that had ventured onto his farm.

Armed with nothing more than his bare hands and a cutlass, he fearlessly charged at the serpent, showcasing an extraordinary display of courage and resourcefulness.

The incident, captured on video and shared widely on social media, has captivated audiences worldwide.

The footage shows Mensah grappling with the python, its powerful coils constricting around his arms and legs.

Undeterred, he persevered, eventually managing to seize the snake’s tail and skillfully stepped on its neck then got hold of both the head and tail. He did the yet-to-be-understood act of blowing air into the mouth of the python which calmed it down.

His bravery has been lauded by many, who admire his fearlessness in the face of such danger. His actions serve as a reminder of the resilience and determination of the human spirit. However, it is crucial to acknowledge the inherent risks involved in such encounters.

Wild pythons are powerful constrictors, capable of inflicting severe injuries or even death. While Mensah’s actions were undeniably courageous, they should not be taken as an endorsement of recklessness.

In the event of encountering a wild python, it is essential to prioritise safety. If possible, maintain a safe distance and avoid provoking the snake. If escape is not possible, seek assistance from trained professionals or wildlife authorities.

Court Dissolves Case Against Black Sheriff

Court Dissolves Case Against Black Sheriff

Earlier today, the an Accra high court dissolves case against Black Sheriff. On August, 2023 the Cruise people Ltd sued the Ghanaian hip hop sensational artist Black Sheriff over failure to adhere to terms and conditions of service, failing an agreement and leading to the cancellation of an event dubbed “Afro  Cruise Jam”.

The Cruise People claimed that Black Sherif should be held liable for the expenses they incurred as a result of this cancellation.

Black Sherif’s attorneys contended that the contract for his performance requires that any judicial procedures take place in the United Kingdom, hence the court lacked jurisdiction to decide the matter. In response, representatives of Cruise People Limited disputed this allegation, arguing that the matter was within the court’s jurisdiction because both parties are Ghanaians who conduct business there.

Judge Mariama Sammo presided over the court, which found in favor of the Konongo-born musician’s attorneys.

The judge found that none of the addresses provided by the entity carrying out the contract were in Ghana in her ruling on Thursday, November 16.

Due to this, the court was forced to dismiss the lawsuit against the Award-winning musician. The plaintiff requested to book Black Sherif for the voyage boat performance, a move which was properly heeded by the songster’s agents who be to be a leading transnational company representing artistes, athletes, and brands across the globe. Sources say an original deposit of$ 20,000 out of a$ 40,000 reserving figure was made by the plaintiff to the musician’s agency. still, the contract didn’t include a demand for promotional vids for a press launch ahead of the yet- to-be-held event. But in an intriguing twist, the businessman and organiser of the voyage pressed the agents demanding promotional vids from Black Sherif with pitfalls to cancel the contract, if the vids aren’t submitted which was a breach of the contract.

Amidst these pitfalls of canceling the contract and suits, the songster’s agents chose to reimburse the original deposit in good faith, as the contract reportedly had no clause calling similar promotional vids. still, the source said the plaintiff claimed on being refunded$ 50,000 rather of the original$ 20,000 figure he parted with, a move which Black Sherif’s agents set up illegal and inconsistent. This led to farther pitfalls from the businessman and his posterior decision to report the case to the police, professing breach of contract and fraud.
