The president further disclosed that, Senior High Schools have been mapped to medical facilities across the country so that any outbreak of the disease in any such school can be duly contained.

Suspected cases in primary and junior high schools will be managed by district health teams through the School Health Programme and the COVID-19 Rapid Response Teams.

All these measures have been taken to ensure not only the safety of learning communities, but also to ensure there is early detection of any case that may arise and treat them accordingly.

The president called on all Ghanaians to observe the safety protocols at all times in offices, schools, markets to prevent the country from recording more cases and a potential partial lockdown.
