NSA releases steps for 2025/26 national service registration and enrolment

The National Service Scheme (NSS), after introducing a new national service portal, has released steps on how tertiary institution graduates can apply for the 2025/2026 national service enrolment.

The Ghana National Service Authority says the 2025/2026 service year national service registration will commence on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, and end on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

To ensure a smooth process, the Authority says that detailed step-by-step guidelines for registration will be published on its new website, www.gnsa.gov.gh, beginning Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

Step 1: Visit NSA Portal

  1. Select your mobile money network provider (MTN, AirtelTigo, or Telecel).
  2. Enter your phone number registered with Mobile Money
  3. Click “Make Payment.”

You will receive a prompt on your phone to authorize the transaction. After approving the payment, click “I Have Paid” on the portal. If you don’t get a prompt, you can manually approve the transaction via the USSD menu by dialing *170#.
