NSS Allowance Deductions: NAPSA President For Ashanti Region Speaks
NSS allowance deductions have been a major problem for all National Service personnel in the country. Their allowances are being deducted without any reasonable explanation from the management of the Ghana National Service scheme.
Records show that the National Service scheme deducted an amount of 25 Ghana cedis from the National Service Personnel allowance for the month of July. Surprisingly, the August payment has encountered a similar problem in which another 25 Ghana Cedis has been deducted.
The NSS allowance deductions have been a major concern to all National Service Personnel across the country. Their grievances must be heard. The Director in Charge of the National Service Scheme must do something about the unapproved deductions. The suffering and other challenges in the country already is unbearable for National Service Personnel combined with the unauthorized deductions in their July and August allowances.

NSS Allowance Deductions: NAPSA President For Ashanti Region Speaks
“I understand the confusion about another 25 Ghana Cedis deductions on the August allowance. I called the national president as soon as it was brought to my attention to look into the matter and give us a proper explanation.
Immediately after that, the Executive Director himself called me on the said matter.
In response to the deduction, it was supposed to be only the Volta Region because they weren’t deducted when the June Allowance was paid, however, reports have started coming in from the Ashanti Region too.
In other to be clear on this, I want members on this noble platform, to withdraw their monies and send proof of evidence if there has been another 25gh deduction.
I need this information as soon as possible, to present them to the Executive Director himself.
We’re in this together people, let’s work for our ordinary NSPs in the region, thank you🙏🏻
Signed
Prince Boadu
(Ashanti Regional NASPA President)
