NTC Emergency License for Non-Professional Teachers Registration Opens: Register Now!
Teachers in Ghana can now register for the NTC Emergency License for Non-Professional Teachers. The National Teaching Council is giving the chance to all Non- Professional Teachers to register and acquire a temporary license to enable them to teach.
All Private School Teachers who have no License are required to register and undergo training for the issuance of a temporal license to Teach in Ghana.
All non-professional educators in private schools are encouraged to take steps to get the NTC Emergency License for Non-Professional Teachers now.
Schools that employ the services of Non-Professional Teachers are encouraged to assist their teachers to acquire these licenses to help them deliver on the job and meet the licensing requirements for educators in Ghana.
REGISTRATION OF NON-PROFESSIONAL TEACHERS FOR AN AUTHORIZATION
TO TEACH (EMERGENCY LICENCE)
Sequel to our meeting held on the 24th of March 2023, on the registration of non-professional teachers in fulfillment of the Education Regulatory Bodies Act 2020 Act 1023 Section 80(1) to (5), the National Teaching Council (NTC) brings to the attention of all Proprietors of private schools to register their non-professional teachers on NTC’s portal for a training programme leading to the issuance of an authorization to teach, herein referred to as an Emergency license.

This was seen in a press release signed by the Registrar of the National Teaching Council of Ghana (NTC) urging the owners(proprietors) of private basic schools in the country to fast-track the registration of their employees on the National Teaching Council of Ghana portal.

This would help the council to also easily issue emergency licenses to teachers in the private school to help improve their professionalism as learning facilitators.
