The National Science and Maths Quiz has been one of the most favorite educational programs in Ghana. The content, setup, and events are entirely meant to educate the people of Ghana about Mathematics and Science. It is not surprising that most of the Ghanaian youth have shown much interest in the Ghana National Science and Maths Quiz. Stephen Baah speaks Ahead of tough finals.
The 2023 edition of the National Science And Maths Quiz in Ghana has marked its 30th anniversary. This year’s competition has been a remarkable one. The competition among all the Senior High schools in Ghana was great. As time may have it, only three schools are permitted to reach the final stage. Some of the schools were eliminated at the district level, others were kicked out at the Regional Regional Level, and some lost the contest in the quarter and Semifinals.

Three (3) senior High schools have registered for the final slot for the 2023 Edition of the Ghana National Science and Mathematics Quiz. These three (3) schools are, Opoku Ware Senior High School from the Ashanti Region of Ghana, Achimota Senior High School, and Presbyterian Boys School (PRESEC Legon) in the Greater Accra Region. The finals of the 2023 Ghana National Science and Maths Quiz will take place at Ghana National Theater on the 31st of October 2023.
Being able to qualify for the finals, Stephen Baah, a form one (1) student at Opoku Ware Senior High School who is a member of the contestants representing Opoku Ware Senior High School speaks ahead of the final that will be held at the National Theater. Stephen Baah has been interviewed by Joy News where he elaborated on his expectations and how they are preparing after the semi-final competition where they eliminated Prempeh College from the contest.
Speaking to Joy News, Stephen Baah is of the view that, his team is preparing massively in other to take the glory to Opoku Ware Senior High School.
” It wasn’t easy for me as I am competing when form 3 students who have been prepared for this quiz for the past three (3) years. I am in form 1 and a lot of pressure on me to learn more”. – Stephen Baah speaks ahead of tough finals.
