OWASS Wins 2025 NSMQ Ashanti Regional Championship

Opoku Ware School (OWASS) has won the 2025 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) Ashanti Regional Championship.
The 2024 national finalists demonstrated their prowess throughout the regional final, dominating from the first round to the last. They took an early lead in the first round with 29 points, while their contenders, Kumasi Academy and Our Lady of Grace SHS, had 6 and 11 points respectively.
In the second round, OWASS did not add to their score but maintained their lead.
By the end of the contest, Opoku Ware School secured the victory with 51 points, while Our Lady of Grace SHS and Kumasi Academy finished with 33 and 20 points respectively.
The three schools will represent the Ashanti region in the national finals of the 2025 NSMQ this year. All three schools will be looking forward to showcasing their mastery of Science and Mathematics and stand the chance of making it into the last 4 at the championship.
