Some people are lashing out at supposed gullible Ghanaians for being taken for a fòol and enriching the young pastor and his family whilst they wallow in poverty.
Reacting to that, Pastor Elvis Agyemang has said he does not spend money given on the Alpha Hour altar.
According to the man of God, he uses all monies given during their service for charity; he pays people’s school fees, caters for many people and even pays tithes to another church.

He revealed that the only money he comfortably spends is the ones individuals hand it to him personally to appreciate him for what he does.
“When you tell Christians to come and fast, they say the pastor is preaching good. When they say come and pray, they say the pastor has done well. When you tell Christians to give in church, they say the pastor is a thief. I have never pocketed any money you give to the church. I can be bold and declare. When it falls here, it goes to the accounts. Only God knows the number of people who have called me for school fees”

This comes after the founder of the man of God was accused of extorting monies from his church members by using the name of God and the Bible.
In this particular picture which has raised eyebrows and received mixed reactions from the populace, some financial officers of the Alpha Hour clan were busily counting heavy offertory which was collected in the course of one of their church service(s).
As suggested by a majority of critics who have come across this eye-catchy photo, the ultimate aim of alpha hour prayers is to make money from gullible people in the name of non-existent miracles, breakthroughs, promotions, Visa acquisition etc. because the man of God appears to be more of a businessman than a man of God.
In such picture, over 6 money counting machines can be seen meaning the cash in the photos will be over 3 million cedis if I’m not exaggerating.
Meanwhile, some social media users have also claimed that the picture was taken during last year’s 31st-night cross held at Obuasi Elwak sports stadium.
