Pastor shot at church at Manso Nkwanta after last prayers
A pastor who is believed to be in his 40s has been reportedly shot at Yawkrom, a community close to Manso Nkwanta in the Amansie West District of the Ashanti Region.
The Pastor shot at church, Isaac Opoku, is the leader and pastor of Time Evangelical Ministry. According to sources, he was shot at close range while preparing for church service.
Reports indicate some unknown hoodlums had entered and indicated they were there to seek counseling from the pastor.
They approached him and requested to know if he was Isaac Opoku and this was followed by the shots that killed the man of God.
Pastor shot at church – Eyewitness Report
An eyewitness of the sad outcome, Kaakyire Amoako said just when the pastor had explained confirmed his name and identity, one of the visitors instructed him to offer his last prayers before he is shot dead.
robbers asked him to say his last prayer before he would shoot him. According to Kaakyire Amoako , the past who was shocked did not hesitate to perform as instructed by the assailant. He bowed his head and started muttering some words.
Just after he had finished the prayer, he was shot in the chest by one of the assailants while the assailant’s accomplice stood by holding a gun and surveying the area.

Residents of the area have been left in shock with many unanswered questions, including what might have led to the gruesome action of the assailants.
Reports indicated the two masked men fled the scene of the crime as they disappeared into the nearby bush reports have indicated.
The victim, one Isaac Opoku was rushed to St. Martins Hospital at Agroyesum for medical attention after desperate cries by some terrified church members attracted people to the church.

An official complaint has been lodged with the Ghana Police Service at the Manso Nkwanta District Police Command; the police have taken official statement.
