There are several road interchanges in Ghana of which some are tagged as the biggest and most beautiful in West Africa. A road interchange is a road junction that uses grade separations to allow for the movement of traffic between two or more highways.

1. Pokuase Interchange
The Pokuase Interchange is the biggest road interchange in Ghana and also in West Africa. It is located in Pokuase in the Greater Accra region. It is a four tire interchange. It was opened tfor vehicular movement. It was commissioned to reduce traffic in the country
2. Sofoline Interchange
This interchange is very popular in Kumasi. It is undoubtedly one of the biggest interchanges in Ghana and also in West Africa. It links road from Sunyani/ Abuakwa/ Tanoso, Tech, Kejetia, and other high streets in Kumasi.
It is located in Sofoline in Kumasi. It is a two tier interchange and it looks very beautiful especially at night.
3. Kwame Nkrumah Interchange
This is one of the biggest interchanges in Africa. It is often known as ‘Circle Dubai’. It is a three tier interchange located in the Greater Accra region of Ghana. It was commissioned in 2016 for public use. It is however estimated to have cost $260m.

4. Tema Motorway Interchange.
This interchange looks very beautiful and amazing. It is a two tier interchange opened for vehicular movement. It is located on the motor way of Tema. It has an underground tunnel and it makes it even more beautiful.
5. Tetteh Quarshie Interchange.
This is one of the biggest interchange in Ghana. It is a six-lane motorway that links the Liberation Road from 37 Military Hospital to the Pantang junction through to Madina. It was commissioned by President Kuffour in 2005. It costs the government ¢8 million to construct such a huge interchange.
