Police arrest ‘Demon Town’ and Accomplice After Viral Threat
In a significant breakthrough, the police have successfully arrested a suspected robber, Demon Town and Accomplice following the circulation of a viral video where they menacingly threatened to stab anyone resisting their robbery attempts. The arrest was made in Aputuogya, located in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region.
Acting swiftly on a tip-off, the Kuntenase District Police Patrol team raided a house in Aputuogya suspected to be harboring Demon Town and Accomplice. The town folks, having witnessed the threats in the viral video, played a crucial role by alerting the police and participating in the raid.

The primary suspect, identified as Ibrahim Mohammed, a 23-year-old individual seen in the viral video, was handed over to the police by the concerned citizens who had earlier stormed the house. During interrogation, Demon Town revealed that he originally hails from Adansi Fomena Kusa but currently resides in Madina, Accra. He claimed to have been invited to the Bosomtwe District about a month ago by the other suspect in the video, named Kwame Sarpong, who is a distant family member.
The second suspect, an unemployed accomplice, was apprehended by the police after attempting to evade capture.

Authorities have disclosed their intention to interrogate the owner of the house where the suspects were sheltered, shedding light on the possibility of additional accomplices or individuals with knowledge of the criminal activities.
Ibrahim Mohammed is expected to face legal proceedings as he is set to be arraigned before court. The police are determined to thoroughly investigate the case to ensure that all individuals involved in criminal activities related to the viral video are brought to justice. The collaborative effort between the community and law enforcement reflects a commitment to maintaining public safety and upholding the rule of law.
