2023 NSMQ Grand Finale: Presec Boys Win 8th NSMQ Title
Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School (PRESEC), Legon, won the 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) Grand Finale on October 30, 2023, at the National Theatre in Accra.
At the start of the competition, their catchphrase was (8 is written), and the PREEC boys lived up to expectations as the undisputed champions. The defending champions retained the bragging rights for another year.
PRESEC defeated Achimota School and Opoku Ware School to claim their 8th NSMQ title, a record in the competition’s history.
The contest was keenly contested, with all three schools displaying their intellectual prowess. However, PRESEC ultimately emerged victorious, thanks to their strong performance in the true or false and problem-solving rounds.
PRESEC’s victory was celebrated by their students, teachers, and alumni all over Ghana. It was a proud moment for the school, and it cemented its reputation as one of the leading science and mathematics schools in the country.
