Prior to Christmas, the Government Reintroduced Visa-On-Arrival for Travelers.
The government has reintroduced the visa-on-arrival policy for passengers traveling to Ghana ahead of the Christmas and New Years holidays.
The arrangement takes effect from December 1, 2023, to January 15, 2024.
This means individuals coming to Ghana are not mandated to acquire a visa before arriving in the country, but would rather receive their visas upon arrival in the country.
A communiqué from the Ministry of Transport to all airlines said this forms part of the government’s ‘Beyond the Return’ initiative.
