Wesley Girls’ Senior High School(SHS) is an educational institution for girls in Cape Coast. It happens to be the most beautiful senior high school in Ghana.
FOUNDER
The school was founded in 1836 by Harriet Wrigley, the wife of a Methodist minister. The school is named after the founder of Methodism, John Wesley. The school is currently 187 years old

- Won the Sprite Ball Championship in 2008 and 2016.
The school has produced the most overall best WASSCE candidates in West Africa. Such awards include
- In 2011, Sakyi Ann Abena Antwiwaa won the award for the school
- In 2012, Pah-Kordieh Yvette won this award
- In 2013, Mannoh Ivy Ama, also won this award.
- In 2015, Quaye Jessica Ayel, also became the best WASSCE student
- In 2018, Wilhermina Opoku from the school was crowned the best WASSCE candidate.
- In 2019, Melisa Abena Okyerewaa Amoah, also grabbed this award.
