French football club, Paris Saint-Germain has decided not to let world-famous footballer, Lionel Messi, parade the World Cup trophy he won last month.

Le Parisien reports that the club won’t permit the 35-year-old to parade the trophy on their home turf, which is often the custom for returning winners.
This comes in the midst of fears of expected whistles and boos from PSG allies.
Messi could be sneered by French fans because of the way of behaving of Albiceleste’s attendant, Emiliano Martinez towards Kylian Mbappe when the final.

Messi was standing close to Martinez when he held a child doll with Mbappe’s face adhered to it during Argentina’s homecoming parade in Buenos Aires.
