Addition information about PSG
After thirty minutes, Rennes took the lead thanks to a goal from Amine Gouiri that went through the Paris defence and into the top corner. PSG, on the other hand, must have made very little progress; their prospects were further harmed by Mbappe’s hourly departure. In the 94th minute, a second penalty stood after the 85th had seen one reversed. Ramos saved the day with a spectacular goal to salvage a point.

The New Star (Goncalo Ramos saves the day for PSG)
Goncalo, that’s your signature moment. The high-profile addition has had a difficult season thus far, making only mediocre appearances off the bench and unable to consistently break into the starting lineup. But he provided a genuine boost of excellence here.
His movements over the past thirty minutes have been significant. And he did exactly that when PSG needed someone to step up and score a big goal. Luis Enrique will be hoping for more.

The Major Slugger
For Mbappe, not every performance has to be the best in the world. However, this one was especially awful. The forward only completed one of his four dribbles, managed just four touches in the opposition area, and failed to shoot on goal. When he collapsed from the pitch an hour later, there were also a few whistles. It’s probably just a bad day, but he’ll want to forget it quickly.
The expectations
Later this week, the Parisians will visit Monaco, who are currently in third position in Ligue 1. The second leg of their Champions League knockout match against Real Sociedad will then be the focus of attention.
