Registration to pursue high Education for all untrained private school teachers including diploma and degree holders is in progress.
The National Council of Private School Teachers (NCOPST) is the mother Association for all private school teachers in Ghana.
We are currently registering Teachers in the private schools to support them to further Education to pursue higher Certificate in the highly recognized universities and colleges in Ghana
Registration of untrained private school teachers for higher education is underway at the office of NCOPST located within the St John’s Preparatory School in Achimota.
Who qualifies to register for higher education?
A. Private school teachers who have no Certificate
B. Private school teachers with A level or O level or JHS/JSS or BECE
B. Private school teachers who hold SSCE or WASSCE or
C. Private school teachers who hold Early Childhood or Montesorri Certificate or NNTTC or NVTI or GBCE or ABCE
D. Private school teachers who hold diploma or degree or master Certificate but not in education
E. Private school teachers who hold diploma or degree in education
On the 4th December 2021, the private school teachers in Ghana were given a stimulus package through this Association (NCOPST) after several meetings with the then minister of education, Hon Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh
NCOPST has gained recognition and has been accepted by all the stakeholders as the only Association for all private school teachers in Ghana
NCOPST is an accredited CPD Service Provider that has been given the approval by the National Teaching Council to train both public and private school teachers in Ghana.
NCOPST has been invited for several stakeholders engagement by the Ministry of Education (at Acknac hotel and MoE conference room), by NTC (at Acknac hotel and NTC conference room), by NACCA (at NaCCA office and Accra College of Education), by NaSIA (at NaSIA Conference Room), by NTC and MOE (at Movenpick – Stakeholders engagement on STEM Education) and many more.
Are you a private school teacher, are you train or untrain teacher at home without working, are you a private school teacher whose salary is below the minimum salary wage, do you need a private school that can pay you well or you are a Professional teacher and wish to work in the public sector? Registration of Private School Teachers to join the National Council of Private School Teachers is ongoing and all private school teachers are required to Register.
Educational Universities in Ghana are supporting all private school teachers through NCOPST to further Education to acquire higher Certificate
NCOPST has an examination portal for all teachers so kindly create an account and take tests after each monthly Training (CPD) on https://exams.ncopst.org. After creating an account, you will get a dashboard for keeping all your certificates, competencies, Teaching resources (scheme of learning, lesson plan, etc).
