With WAEC releasing the 222 WASSCE results, all BECE candidates are looking forward to the release of the 2022 BECE results. The BECE which was written from the 17th to the 21st of October 2022. Reliable information available to GhanaEducation.org is that the marking of BECE scripts has been completed.
“BECE UPDATE: All papers have been marked and collected, script cross-checking begins on Wednesday” the update received indicated.
Release of 2022 BECE Results: What date will the results be out?
The 2022 WASSCE result was released exactly 65 days after the last paper on 1 December 2022, which translated into 2 months and 4 days.
However, the BECE was completed on 21st October and 65 days from that day is 25th December 2022, which translated into 2 months and 4 days.
Due to the festive season, NewsGhana24.com projects that WAEC may release the results before 21st December or in January 2023. If the release of the results in postponed until January, we project the results will be released between the 9th and 21st of January 2023.
What will 2022 BECE candidates need to check their results?
To check the 2022 BECE result, the candidate will need a BECE result checker. Note that this is different from the WASSCE result checker.

After the release of the results, the school placement will be released after about three weeks. To check your school placement, a candidate will need to buy another checker by the name School Placement Checker.
Candidates are advised not to buy result checker cards now as there are no BECE checker cards on the open market.

In a related development, candidates who fail to make the right grades will not be placed in any of the six choices of the candidates. Such candidates may have the chance of doing the self-placement. However, those who obtain grade 9 in Mathematics or Integrated Science will not be placed in any school and will also not get the opportunity to do the self-placement.
