Ronaldo To Face Messi’s PSG In His First Match For New Club, Al Nassr
Rudi Garcia, who is the coach of Al Nassr, said that Ronaldo might play his first game for the team against Messi’s PSG.
Lionel Messi, who won the World Cup, could be Cristiano Ronaldo’s first opponent at his new club, Al Nassr.
On January 19, the Paris Saint-Germain and the Saudi club will play a friendly match in Riyadh.
Rudi Garcia, the coach of Al Nassr, said that Ronaldo’s first game in Saudi Arabia would be against Paris Saint-Germain in a friendly, which could put him up against Messi.
The Portuguese star had been banned for two games by the English FA for knocking a fan’s phone out of his hand in April 2022, after Manchester United lost at Everton.
It has put off Ronaldo’s much-anticipated debut, which is now set to happen on January 19 in Riyadh in a show match with PSG.
Even so, Garcia was upset that Al Nassr and Al Hilal players would be playing in the friendlies because they had to play in domestic games. He said that they had another home game three days after the set friendlies.
“It won’t be with the Al Nassr jersey,” Garcia said. It will sound like a combination of Al Hilal and Al Nassr.
“As Al Nassr’s coach, I can’t be happy with how this game went. Seeing PSG and the great Parisian players is a good thing for development. But in three days, we have the championship game.
“It could have been better planned out in terms of time. But it’s not a big deal… We are happy because we are in the lead. The championship is hard to win, but we plan to do it.”
Both Ronaldo and Messi have done well in their careers, making it hard for fans to decide which one is better.
Messi has won the Ballon d’Or seven times, which is more than any other player. Ronaldo has won the award five times.
