SAD: Driver Burnt To Death, Two Hospitalised In A Crash
The accident happened on Thursday at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport Junction on the Enugu-Abakiliki Road in Emene, Enugu.
A minibus driver died from being burned to death in an accident, which is a very shocking thing to hear.
In the crash, which happened in Enugu, the capital of Enugu State, two other people were hurt very badly.
The accident happened on Thursday at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport Junction on the Enugu-Abakiliki Road in Emene, Enugu.
People say that the person who died was driving at top speed and hit another car that was trying to cross the road. His car then flipped over and caught on fire.
Mr. Joseph Tobby, who is in charge of the Enugu State sector of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), confirmed the accident. He said that the bus driver died from being burned in the accident.
He said that two people in the other car were hurt and that his men rushed them to the hospital.
He said, “Someone was crossing the street, and the minibus hit the person and flipped over. It later caught on fire.
“We had to call the fire department to come put out the fire. The army and police were also there to help.
“In the end, we had to get the hurt people to the hospital and the dead people to the morgue.
“We need to figure out a way to stop the constant crashes along the Emene axis.”
