Basic Schools In Ghana Reopen Today; Check Out Some Important Notice.

On the 24th of March 2023, all basic Schools under Ghana Education Service GES went on vacation and it is now the exact date and date to resume. The vacation was a very short one with about only ten days.

The vacation in March happens to be the end of the first term academic year across all basic schools in Ghana. The date for resuming to commence the second term academic was scheduled to be on the 3rd of April 2023. Therefore, all basic School students under the Ministry of Ghana Education Service are to resume on Monday as stipulated to the said date.

As students are ready to go back to school, there is a need to have some key information that will be very used by both students and their parents.

1. How Many weeks are the students going to spend in school before the next Vacation according to Ghana Education service?

According to the schedule for all the districts and the regional headquarters, the second term academic is going to last for ten (10) weeks. When we break the weeks into months, we will have about two months two weeks which is about three (3) months.

All activities involving academics must be taken seriously. Teachers must be punctual and regular to be able to execute their lessons accurately to avoid lapses.

Parents also have a key role to play. They must provide the basic needs of the child to be able to feel safe and have a level of home comfort in School.
