Security Service Recruitment: Prisons Screening Begins as Police Phase Ends

For applicants following the 2025/2026 Ghana Security Services recruitment, the Ministry of the Interior has released the official phase-two schedule for documentation and body inspection. While the Ghana Police Service has already concluded its initial selection window, other services are commencing their screening today.

Security Service Screening Schedule

The documentation and physical body inspection for the Centralised Services E-Recruitment Portal (CSERP) will run from January 12 to February 4, 2026. Each service has been assigned a specific window:

  • Ghana Police Service: January 12th – 15th (Completed).

  • Ghana Prisons Service: January 19th – 23rd (Commencing Today).

  • Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS): January 26th – 30th.

  • Ghana Immigration Service (GIS): February 2nd – 4th.

Critical Instructions for Shortlisted Candidates

Shortlisted applicants are expected to receive an SMS notification detailing their exact screening center and time. If you have not yet received a text message, it is essential to log into the CSERP Portal to check your status and print your screening schedule.

Reporting Times:

  • Morning Session: Report by 7:00 AM.

  • Eyesight: You must pass a basic vision test (squinting or color blindness may lead to disqualification).
