See Lilwin’s Reaction After Martha Ankomah Slapped Him With Gh¢ 5 Million Lawsuit (Video)
Kwadwo Nkansah Liiwin’s reactions to Martha Ankomah have left many people talking on social media. Although many Ghanaians expected him to react with words of peace, it was otherwise.
Kumawood actor and singer Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as Lilwin, is the target of legal action taken by actress Martha Ankomah. The actress is allegedly being sued because she turned down a job offer in the Kumawood film industry, which led to Lilwin’s recent verbal assault. Just about a week ago, the plot thickened when Lilwin took exception to Martha’s comments during an encounter with Director Frank Garbin.

In retaliation, Lilwin unleashed a torrent of expletives against Martha in a video that went viral, some of which were deemed too severe to print. Martha Ankomah, who was clearly not joking, had her attorneys file a lawsuit. According to an online copy of the writ of summons, Martha is suing Lilwin for 5 million Ghana cedis in damages for his defamatory words.
The actress is suing the actor for compensatory damages, saying that his remarks damaged her reputation. Among Lilwin’s derogatory comments that are detailed in the summons are his questions over Martha’s star power, her ties to GTP, and insinuations regarding her private life. This document seeks remedy for the harm caused to Martha’s reputation and declares these statements as defamatory.”
“Any idiot can go to court,” Lilwin tweeted in reaction to the case, sharing a video that had gone viral in the past showing NDC member Asiedu Nketiah.”The Court, as the last say in legal disputes, is responsible for protecting the constitutional guarantees of equal justice for all Ghanaians and interpreting laws,” Lilwin captioned the photo.
