See The Questions Ghanaians Are Expecting The Committee Members To Ask Ken Ofori Atta.
Ken Ofori Atta will appear before the ad-hoc committee tomorrow. And after Ken presents his case, the committee members are expected but not compulsorily, to interrogate the Finance Minister based on his response and the grounds of the proponents of the motion of censure. There is a higher expectation on the members of the committee who are from the Minority Caucus, particularly, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Hon. Bernard Ahiafor and Hon. Zanetor Agyeman Rawlings. The expectation is that they intensely scrutinize the Finance Minister.
Ghanaians, on the other hand, have shared the questions they expect the committee members to ask the Finance Minister. Check out some of these questions.
Prince Albert Marfo asked, “Good day sir, Please can you respectfully tell your cousin Ken Ofori Atta that what he has stolen is enough and Ghanaians don’t want him anymore so he must use his conscience if he has. Thanks”
“He should tell us how much money he wants and we will pay him today so that he can resign”, Wisdom Jesse Gborglah also stated.
“Where does he want to spend the rest of his life in, Nsawam or Ankafo prison?
“When is he reporting himself to the appropriate institution to be prosecuted and jailed for his corrupt and criminal deeds against this country”, Samuel Agubretu asked.
“They should ask him when the NABCO remaining arrears will be paid”, King Davis wrote.
“Why he does not want to resign at all? What at all is his motivation”, one Nicholas Anoah simply asked.
