See why Kasoa is finally in the Guinness World Records

Kasoa’s name is finally in the Guinness World Records, and not for the reasons people used to talk about.

Last December, four brilliant children from Kasoa Pentecost Preparatory School, trained by Sophia Boadi Readathon International Foundation (SBRIF) and supervised by the executive director, Sophia Boadi, stepped onto the global stage and shattered 4 WORLD RECORDS. Today, they are the CURRENT WORLD RECORD HOLDERS, beating challengers from China, the USA, Canada, the UK, and India.

Here is what our KOSOA champions did:

1. Fastest Time to Separate Two Bags of Recyclable Materials ♻️
This wasn’t just about speed. It was about environmental sustainability. These kids showed Ghana and the world that young people can lead the fight against waste. In a time when plastic is choking our communities, they proved that recycling can be fast, smart, and youth-driven.

2. Fastest Time to Pack a School Bag 📚
Pens, pencils, erasers, books, and stationery packed with lightning precision. This record celebrates education and preparedness. It tells every Ghanaian child: your tools for learning matter. Be ready. Value your education.

3. Fastest Time to Build a Toilet Roll Pyramid 🧠
This is critical thinking in action. It tests speed, strategy, and calm under pressure. Our kids proved that Ghanaian students don’t just memorize; they solve, they build, and they innovate.

4. Most Tree Seedlings Planted in One Minute 🌱
Agriculture meets urgency. In 60 seconds, these children planted hope. At a time when food security is national security, they are reminding us that every child can be part of Ghana’s agricultural future. This record was set on Ghana National Farmers Day on 5th December, 2025.

WHY THIS MATTERS:
For years, Kasoa has been in the “bad books” of many Ghanaians. But these 4 children just rewrote that story. They have put Kasoa and Ghana on the global map for excellence, discipline, and innovation. They didn’t just win records; they overtook students from global giants and proved that talent from Kasoa can compete and win anywhere.

This is what Sophia Boadi Readathon International Foundation is about: changing the perspective of education. We are not just teaching kids to read. We are training world beaters. We’re showing that with the right mentorship, a child from Kasoa can become a world champion.
