SHS 3 and SHS 2 students in single track schools have officially began their 2023/2024 academic year today, Wednesday, 1st November, 2023.
Students are expected to be in school from 1st November, 2023 to 15th March, 2024. They will be in school for four months. There will be a Christmas break from 21st December, 2023 to 2nd January, 2024.

ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR SHS – SINGLE TRACK
First Semester
SHS 1 – Students will be in school from 4th December, 2023 to 15th March, 2024. Vacation starts from 16th March, 2024 to 2nd May, 2024.
SHS 2. – Students will be in school from 1st November, 2023 to 5th March, 2024. Vacation starts from 5th March, 2024 to 2nd May, 2024
SHS 3 – Students will be in school from 1st November, 2023 to 5th March, 2024. Vacation starts from 5th March, 2024 to 2nd May, 2024.
NB: There is going to be a Christmas break from 21st December, 2023 to 2nd January, 2024.

Second Semester
All students will resume from 3rd May, 2024 to 28th August, 2024.
SHS 3 and 2 Students Reopens Today
TRANSITIONAL ACADEMIC CALENDAR (DOUBLE TRACK)
First Semester
SHS 1 – SHS 1 students will begin the Academic year on 4th December 2023 and end it on 5th March, 2024. Students will then go on break from 6th March, 2024 to 12th May, 2024.
SHS 2 – SHS 2 students to begin their academic year on 8th March, 2024 and end on 9th May, 2024 for first semester. They will then go on break from 10th May, 2024 to 11th July, 2024.
SHS 3 – Students will begin the year on 2nd January, 2024 and end on 28th March, 2024. Students will break from 29th March to 16th April, 2024.
Second Semester
SHS 1
In school: 13th May, 2024 to 9th July, 2024
Break: 10th July, 2024 to 2nd September, 2024.
In School: 3rd September, 2024 to 15th November, 2024.
SHS 2
In School: 12th July to 15th November, 2024
SHS 3
In school: 17th April, 2024 to 23rd August, 2024
When will SHS 3 and 2 students start their (2023-2024) academic year?
Per the newly released academic calendar, SHS 3 and SHS 2 students will start their first semester of the 2023-2024 academic calendar on 1st November, 2023.
Note that all students in SHS do not necessarily have the same reopening date for SHS and calendar depending on the class in which they are in
