SHS3 Second Semester Reopening Date and WASSCE 2021 Month

When will SHS 3 Students Report To School For the Second Semester of The 2021 Academic Calendar?

The Second Semester reopening date for SHS3, which was supposed to be 7th April 2021, has been postponed to May 5th, 2021 by the management of the Ghana Education Service (GES)

According to the GES, once the SHS3 students report on 5th May, they will remain in school until they write the 2021 WASSCE. According to the GES, the new reopening date for the form three SHS students will afford them the opportunity to have 1080 contact hours needed for effective preparation ahead of the 2021 WASSCE.

When SHS3 students return to school in June, they will wrap up their studies for the 2021 WASSCE for school candidates.

Per the agreement reached between the Ghana Education Service and WAEC prior to the reopening of schools in January 2021, School candidates preparing for the WASSCE 2021 examination are expected to write the examination between September and October 2021.
