Ghanaians on social media have expressed their disappointment in the Black Stars of Ghana following their recent defeat against Mexico.

On Sunday, Black Stars were defeated by 2 goals to 0, in a friendly game against Mexico national team.

Ghana experienced a major setback when Joseph Aidoo was substituted in the 28th minute due to injury, with Clermont Foot’s Alidu Seidu stepping in.

Ghana adopted a three-defender formation that worked effectively for most of the first half, leading to a goalless draw at halftime.

In the second half, stand-in captain Thomas Partey was replaced by Salis Abdul Samed.

PSV Eindhoven star Hirving Lozano opened the scoring in the 57th minute, marking the game’s first goal.

Mexico extended their lead in the 72nd minute through Atuna, who capitalized on a counter-attack.

Chris Hughton introduced more offensive power, including Jordan Ayew, Ernest Nuamah, and Inaki Williams, making tactical changes following the second goal.

However, Ghana struggled to penetrate Mexico’s high defensive line. Atuna capitalized on an error in the 72nd minute to secure the second goal and the victory for Mexico.

We were simply outplayed. To be frank, there is nothing unique about our team. It makes me wonder if the manager has a clue as to what game plan he is playing. Just individual talents assembled to kick and balloon the ball around. No cohesion, no desire, no consistency in possession or exchange of passes, no threat going forward, etc.

The unified Eredivisie was born in 1956, and four teams have continuously played at this highest national level since then.

In the United States of America, teams that play in the Major League Soccer do not get relegated no matter the position of the team. They play football for entertainment purposes.

Every now and then, the impossible is almost outrageously achieved in football. Let’s take a look at the football records that may never be broken.

1. Most Goals In A Calendar Year

2012 was Lionel Messi’s best year as he destroyed Europe’s defenses with his incredible goals.
