2030 World Cup on multiple continents: First Ever, Host Countries

2030 World Cup First tournament on multiple continents

FIFA has announced that the 2030 World Cup will be the first tournament on multiple continents. Morocco, Portugal, and Spain will be the FIFA World Cup hosts.

However, the 2030 FIFA World Cup will be played in six different countries. However, to commemorate its 100th anniversary, the 2030 FIFA World Cup will be held in six nations.

Although the tournament will be hosted by Morocco, Portugal, and Spain officially, Argentina and Paraguay will host the first three games to mark the tournament’s 100-year anniversary.

This makes the 2030 World Cup the first tournament to be played on multiple continents

South American countries and the hosting of the first three 2030 FIFA World Cup matches

Uruguay, the South American country that hosted and won the first ever FIFA men’s World Cup in 1930, will be hosting one of the first three matches of the tournament.

Argentina, which placed second in the first ever FIFA men’s World Cup in 1930, will also host one of the first three games at the centenary world cup in 2030

Paraguay will also host one of the historic kick-offs of the 2030 tournament.

The first FIFA World Cup was one of a kind, according to FIFA, because all four teams that participated arrived at the tournament in one boat, to play in a stadium yet to be completed, and the famous goal was scored by a one-armed goalscorer in the final.

“Four teams arriving together on the same boat, an unfinished stadium, even a one-armed goalscorer in the final. Yet it ended with a familiar outpouring of joy as the whole of Uruguay took a public holiday after the Celeste became the first world champions by defeating neighbours Argentina 4-2.” FIFA stated in a blog post on its website.

The inclusion of three South American countries as hosts of the first three matches automatically increases the number of hosting countries from 3 to 6 for the world’s biggest football tournament, which will offer players, fans, tourists, and all stakeholders a carnival feel and a taste of football across continents. Teams will fly from one continent to the next, depending on the arrangements put out by FIFA for the tournament.

Which six countries will host the 2030 FIFA World Cup?

Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay will host the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

Historical facts that will be documented about the 2030 Men’s World Cup

It is expected that the opening ceremony will be held in either Morocco, Portugal, or Spain.

This tournament will give Morocco the chance to be the first North African country to host World Cup matches.

Portugal will also make history as they will be hosting their first ever World Cup Match after they failed to win the hosting bid in 2018 and 2022.

This is the first time the World Cup will be hosted by six countries.

The 2030 World Cup will also be the first to be played across three continents. Thus, in Morocco (Africa), Portugal and Spain (Europe), Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay (South America).

5 Worst Goalkeepers In The Premier League This Season

5 Worst Goalkeepers In The Premier League This Season

Goalkeepers are always facing many criticisms, especially in top tier football where their every mistake is evaluated by sportsmen and fans. Below are a list of 5 worst goalkeepers in the Premier League this season.

Goalkeeping is a key position on the pitch, with games being determined by their ability to save the goal from shots from their opponents. Let’s drop down into the list.

5 Worst Goalkeepers In The Premier League This Season(Save Percentage)

5) Thomas Kaminski (Luton Town) – 63.9%

The Belgian was bought from Blackburn Rovers for a little fee in the summer, and it is fair to say things haven’t really gone to plan so far.

With Kaminski in goal, the Hatters have conceded 14 goals in 7 league games, letting in 2 per game on average.

Not all of that can be blamed on the keeper, who has a porous defence ahead of him, but there is no doubt that the 30-year-old can perform better.

In his last two seasons at Blackburn, Kaminski’s save percentage hovered around 71%; a much higher figure than his current average for Luton.

4) Jason Steele (Brighton) – 61.9%
The 33-year-old earned a spot over Robert Sanchez as the Seagulls’ No.1 in the middle of last season but he hasn’t started this campaign in good form.

Coach Roberto De Zerbi has already dropped him a few times to start new summer signing Bart Verbruggen.

Having conceded 6 goals to Aston Villa last weekend, there is a distinct possibility that Steele will be benched by De Zerbi once again.

3) Andre Onana – 58.3%

The Cameroonian has had a bad start campaign with the Red Devils as he has conceded more than 15 goals for them this season. He was bought in from Italian side Inter Milan, where he had outstanding performances for the Nerazurri which pushed Manchester United to move forward in signing him.

However, Onana has not proven his best side since joining the English giants.

2) Jordan Pickford (Everton) – 57.7%

The England National Team No.1 has had a very bad start to the campaign, conceding 12 goals from 26 shots on target in the Premier League.

Pickford is an unpredictable goalkeeper, to say the least. Last season, the 29-year-old’s save percentage was 71.3%, which was a very impressive figure.

At the moment, however, he is clearly not doing enough to keep clean sheets and Everton are suffering as a consequence.

Everton currently is 16th in the table, having taken 4 points from their opening 7 matches.

1) Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal) – 55.6%

Many fans and sportsmen hit at Mikel Arteta’s decision to drop the 25-year-old so early on in the season. Many felt he had done little miscalculation in between the posts for the Gunners.

However, the statistics tell a different story. Ramsdale has conceded 4 goals despite having faced just 9 shots in the Premier League.

It is relatively small but, even so, his replacement David Raya has posted a save ratio of 71.4% from 7 shots since being brought in, which is a measurable improvement.

Across the season, the Spaniard’s stats may be better or worsen but, for now, he seems to be the right choice.

The Black Stars captain Andre Morgan Ayew missed Black stars call-up for the upcoming friendlies to be played in October 2023. It is mostly believe that when there is enough preparation for the battle, the battle becomes very soft and easy upon arrival.

Dede Ayew Missed Black Stars Call-up For October Black Stars Friendlies.

We have observed that the Captain of the Black Stars of Ghana Andrew Dede Ayew has not been called. Ghanaians are asking several questions about the disappearance of Andrew Dede Ayew from the Squad of late. Perhaps Dede Ayew is battling with an injury that Ghanaians do not know. In other opinion, Andrw Dede Ayew is currently struggling to get a team after his exit from Nottingham Forest Foot ball club.
