MY FIRST DAY AT SCHOOL; NUGS President Visits Schools.
Today, October 3, 2023, the leadership of the National Union of Ghana Students paid a visit to Adabraka Presby Basic School on the initiative-“My First Day at School”.
The purpose was to welcome and engage with the learners on their first day back to school, as well as the new entrants on their first day in an educational setting. We used the opportunity to introduce them to NUGS—the union representing their interests and well-being and inspire them as they commence a new academic year.
As part of the visit, educational materials were distributed as a token of support and motivation.
Additionally, H.E Kyeremeh Oppong Daniel pledged to monthly supply board marker pens to aid in teaching in the institution.
This is the 57th NUGS administration, a union for all, and no one will be left behind!

On the same issue, Dr. Eric Nkansah who happens to be the Director General of Ghana Education Service also visited some selected schools in the Western Region on 3rd October 2023. The Director General of Ghana Education Service embarked on that assignment with his team. They express their profound happiness about the enrollment of pupils in the basic schools they have visited.
Other Educational agencies and stakeholders can equally adopt this strategy which will help to maintain the interest of pupils in their school. NUGS President visits schools to share educational support and other teaching and learning materials with teachers and pupils. The pupils in the visited schools received pencils, pens, exercise books, and other stationeries.
