Teacher Trainees Denied Food Over CENSTAG Indefinite strike Action
Information reaching Ghana Education News indicates that Teacher Trainees were denied food over CENSTAG indefinite strike action.
CENSTAG is one of the associations in the colleges of Education. Its membership includes all non-teaching staff. On Sunday 13th November 2022, CENSTAG and CETAG released a communique to the government about their indefinite strike action to commence on Monday 14th November 2022.
Calls from all teacher training colleges across the country confirmed that teaching staff and non-teaching staff have embarked on an indefinite strike until their needs are meant.

The kitchen staff across all colleges have laid down their tools. No feeding for teacher trainees. Trainees are left to face their fate. They are to find their food until the management call off the strike action.
The teacher Trainees Association of Ghana has petitioned all stakeholders. The negative impacts which will result from the strike actions harm the continuing students currently on campus.

It is our greatest desire that within the shortest possible time, the strike action will be called off for the academic and feeding of teacher trainees to resume.
