Preliminary findings about the supplier of the one teacher one Laptop (Teacher’s Mate Laptops ) investigations have been carried out by the Informed Teachers Network.

The investigations into the company and its ownership among others revealed the following.
The name of the company is KA Technologies and the TM stands for Teacher’s Mate.
KA Technologies has an online presence thus a website (katechnologiesgh.com). The domain name was created on 2020-11-20 at 15:47:22 GMT. It is 9 months and 21 days old as of today.
KA Technologies have an Instagram account (KA Technologies_gh) with the first Activity on 23rd July 2021.
They have a Facebook account with the first Activity on 2nd June 2021.
They equally have a Tweeter account with the first Activity on 23rd July 2021.
On YouTube, the name is for a French IT company. The logo is the only difference.
The company’s clients since it begun operations and captured on the website are on their website, GES, and MOE which raises questions.
All the social media handles have the fingerprint of one Nana Kwabena Kwarteng from Secondi.
The company, KA Technologies also seems to have a link with enigma IT Group and its possible location being Spintex/ Secondi.

Take note: These are just findings in attempts to answer the following questions;
- When was the company formed and registered?
- Who are the faces behind? Who are the owners?
- How was the contract awarded? Sole sourcing of competitive tendering?
- What is the track record of the company?
- Who have they supplied their products to before?
- Was the company formed purposely to be awarded this contract?
- What is the actual price of the Laptops?
The union hopes to find answers to the questions from the ministry of education and other top stakeholders such as the GES, Teacher Unions in support of the One Teacher One Laptop initiative and the brand in the coming days.
