The issues of NTC and Teachers’ CPD points to obtain for license renewal is not only worrying but also confusing. In write-up, we shall try to explain a few things worth knowing.
Teachers are to obtain or attain a certain point from thirty(30) or at least twenty-seven(27) mandatory workshops in connection with license renewable every three years on conditions of the following:
1.The teacher has lived within the confines of the code of ethics and professional standards, meet the required CPD points at the current rank within the 3year
2.Teachers Continues Professional Development, TCPD cycle, and passed the portfolio assessment at levels, where the academic calendar runs on three terms, a minimum of 9 supply-driven trainings (3 per term) is required.
3. For a two-term semester academic calendar, a minimum of 12 supply driven CPDs (6 per semester) is expected.
