The dollar will soon trade at GH¢5.00 – A Plus predicts

Kwame A Plus, a social commentator, has said that the cedi is about to get a lot better than it already has.
On the interbank forex market on Friday, December 16, 2022, you could buy one Ghana Cedi for GH9.00 and sell one for GH8.0055 for one US dollar.
Since then, this has led A Plus to say that the local currency is likely to rise even more in the next few days.
“The dollar is making music.” I’m head over heels in love with you. On Monday, one dollar will be worth 5 cedis. Things are getting better,” he wrote as the caption to an Instagram photo of the Bank of Ghana exchange rates.
In the meantime, a lot of Ghanaian celebrities, including A Plus, have talked about how the Ghana Cedi has done better against other currencies, especially the US dollar.
People like Kwame A Plus, Lydia Forson, Prince David Osei, and others have taken to social media to say how happy they are that the value of the cedi has gone up.
Part of these people are netizens who think that this could be a sign that the country’s economic problems are getting better.
Others, though, say that this isn’t something to be happy about if prices of goods and services stay the same even though the dollar seems to be doing well.
