The Police Did A Shoddy Job – Bull Dog On UTV Invaders Case
Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bull Dog, has expressed his disappointment in the Ghana Police Service over how they handled the UTV Invaders Case. According to Bull Dog, the police did a shoddy jon.
Speaking on United Showbiz program on Saturday, Bull Dog clearly stated that the police could have added more charges to the case but decided to drop some. According to Bull Dog, these invaders assaulted some workers of UTV, but this was overlooked by the Police.
“The police did a shoddy job, I am telling you because police themselves are miniature or custodians of the law. The guys who came here assaulted people when they came and all those things were crossed over. The police did a shoddy work. They know the law. They are the people who send individuals to court because they know the law. That is why when you break the law, they can tell you that you have broken the law” he said.
Bull Dog recount how he was charged for a statement he made on TV. It could be recalled that the Ghana the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) arrested Bull Dog in January, 2021 for threatening the president.

He said on UTV’s United Showbiz that the President will not complete his second term if he does not pay the locked-up funds of Menzgold customers.
Although Bulldog retracted his statement, he said that his comments did not mean he was going to shoot or kill the President.
“Do you know how much I was charged. I almost paid ¢50,000 at the court and I will tell you that God is champion. A-Plus, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Father Dickson, Logic paid 65,000 cedis for speaking” he added.
This comes after the 16 NPP thugs who invaded United Television on Saturday, 7th October, 2023, were convicted and fined 200 penalty units which amounts to Ghc2400 each by the Achimota Magistrate Court.
The men were charged with criminal conspiracy. The individuals who accepted the accusations were later found guilty by the court.
