The Ugliness of Beauty – Poem

Enjoy this masterpiece: The Ugliness of Beauty -Poem by (Probity~1)
She is beautiful beyond bounds.
She is an epitome of a reservoir of beauty.
Her smooth, sparkling skin of melanin
Glows and glitters like a glass.
5 Her smiles summon serenity and bliss
Like the wane, warm light of sunrise.
Her diastema is just a fantabulous flowery path
Navigating through her white teeth
Standing straight like the navy on parade.
10 She is beautiful to all eyes.
Even the blind see her binding beauty.
Compliments clothe her to complement.
But her beauty is ugly in many minds.
Several countless men greet her heart with many smiling promises,
15 Just direly desiring to taste the sweetness of her spellbinding beauty.
Men flow on her way like streams that never die
And even as she fights through these thorns,
Preventing each of them from feasting on her
Like a bounty birthed by buffet
20 To ensure that she maintains her virtuous virtues and values,
Her beauty births ugly thoughts and intents in minds.
Minds are filled with deep, daunting doubts
Of her chastity and loyalty and modesty.
Minds think thorny thoughts and hearts feel filled with fear
25 That she’s like a roadside rose,
Living without any guns of guards
So she’s accessible to anyone and everyone
And everyone sniffs and smells and tastes her sweet smells
Like insects indiscriminately do to flowers.
30 Sisters dissuade their brothers from looking at her direction
If they want a flower for the forever bond
Cos she’s too beautiful to be virtuous.
Men advise their friends to refrain from any intentions
Of settling down with her.
35 Everyone feels insecure by her beauty.
Wives pour powerful, poisonous words on her
To prevent her from hooking their husbands away
Like a sheep following a maize holder.
Fellow females feel threatened by her beauty,
40 Thinking she would snatch their boyfriends,
Privileges, and positions from them.
So she is clothed with compliments in her presence
And she is followed by shadows of insulting compliments.
Men project her beauty ugly to the minds’ eyes of other men
45 Just because she succumbs not to their sweet, sweet lies
To be used as a vehicle for them to embark on their orgasmic journeys.
So,
Her beauty renders and projects her ugly
In minds and hearts
50 Cos she’s seen as a societal mortar moving from one pestle to another
Or obroni wawu being tossed from one hand to another.
And though an epitome of a reservoir of beauty,
Not letting loose her virtues and values,
She is seen with ugly lenses and thoughts,
55 Making her, a beautiful she, appear in ugly clothes
And swim in an ugly ocean of life.
Unlike even the 20s, she sings the songs of singles
As she races from 30 plus and dwindles,
Bringing bear the ugliness of beauty in which she struggles.
