If you want to sign up for the next West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in The Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, or Sierra Leone, you should be ready to carefully read what I’m about to say.
Your success (let’s assume you don’t fail) will depend a lot on how well you know these trade secrets and how you use them to your advantage.

1. You can start signing up for the test in January or February.

3. Some smart guys might be able to trick you.
After about the middle of February, take the time to go to the WAEC website and look up the exact official fees.
4. Gangs of WASSCE result-grade scammers are out there taking advantage of candidates who don’t know what’s going on.
You can’t get real WASSCE grades from these so-called “connection men” or “WASSCE Grade doctors” that will get you anywhere worth going.
As usual, these con artists will be on the loose during the next exam period. My only piece of advice to you is this: be careful.
All you have to do is start studying early and work hard at it. That’s all you need to do to get grades you can be happy with.
5. A WASSCE qualification will be more important in the years to come.
Without a WASSCE certificate, it’s hard for young people in English-speaking West Africa to do much of anything right now.
Why do you ask? Because every school and organization in your country and around the world has agreed that it is the only high school diploma from English-speaking West Africa that can be trusted.
The WASSCE certificate is the first step for anyone from Anglophone West Africa who wants to continue their education at the university level or get a job right away.
