The 2023 TotalEnergies AFCON Côte d’Ivoire draw was held on Thursday, 12 October 2023 at the Parc des Expositions in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. The draw was conducted by CAF President Patrice Motsepe and former Côte d’Ivoire international Didier Drogba.
The 24 teams were drawn into six groups of four, with each group containing one team from each of the four seeding pots. The seeding pots were based on the teams’ FIFA rankings as of 25 September 2023.
Group A: Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Malawi
Group B: Nigeria, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Egypt
Group C: Mali, Gambia, Mauritania, Tunisia
Group D: Ghana, Morocco, Comoros, Gabon
