Twitter is simply the most interesting place on the Internet: Elon Musk

Elon Musk, owner of Twitter has disclosed that “Twitter is simply the most interesting place on the Internet. That’s why you’re reading this tweet right now” His comment comes a day after he announced that Twitter was planning to charge a monthly verification fee of $8.
This announcement divided Twitter users into those in favaour and those against the move.
Many users believe the Monthly Twitter Verification fee of 8$ will work against free speech on Twitter however, Elon Musk has no intention of halting the move as the new owner.
He furthered that, since he revealed the Monthly Verification Fee plan, he has been attacked at both end of the bargain however he sees the reactions as a good omen.
Elon Musk’s Tweet read “Being attacked by both right & left simultaneously is a good sign”
Other tweets like …
You get what you pay for
Twitter speaks to the inner masochist in all of us
To all complainers, please continue complaining, but it will cost $8
Totally stole idea of charging for insults & arguments from Monty Python tbh
All point to the fact the new owner seeks nothing but the monetization of Twitter.
