Two New Ways To Enjoy Zone Bundle Offers In Ghana(Best Alternatives)

MTN Data Zone bundle, a subscription through the short code *135# was an innovation that gives customers a 1-day validity bundle at discounted rates at the point of purchase.

This short code doesn’t work anymore as MTN Ghana announces its suspension.

In a press release on Wednesday, April 12, the mobile network apologised “to Ghanaians for the suspension of such internet bundle offers.

It explained that “The suspension of the innovative Data Zone bundle is due to a review of the bundle offer in line with the Significant Market Power (SMP) directives applied to MTN Ghana in June 2020, not to be the lowest priced on any offer in the industry.”

According to MTN Ghana, it is “currently engaging and collaborating with the Regulator, as we seek alignment on a revised Data Zone bundle to be reinstated as soon as possible.

MTN users are currently waiting for the restoration of the Zone Bundle offer. However, there are two other alternatives to enjoy Zone Bundle offers that will make you spend less money and get more internet data to browse your favorite website.

FIRST ALTERNATIVE

The first alternative comes from MTN Ghana. This offer is know is Just4U offer. It is quite similar to MTN Zone bundle. It gives similar offers. With ¢5.5, one can get as much as 5gb of data. This is similar to the zone bundle. Also with ¢2.5, one can get 1gb of data. This offer is even better than the MTN Zone bundle. One can subscribe to this by dialing *141#.

SECOND ALTERNATIVE

This other alternative is also not called Zone Bundle, but rather Made For Me Offer. This Made For Me Offer is also similar to that of MTN Ghana’s Zone Bundle offers. It has almost same data bundle offers.

This M4M offer is exclusive to Prepaid Mobile Customers only. A customer can subscribe to the offer by dialling the USSD short code *530# on a Vodafone sim card. Several offers are presented to you to choose from upon dialling the short code. The offers can co-exist with other bundles with M4M offers having priority until allocations are exhausted.

Made For Me(M4M) offers do not auto renew upon expiry. A subscriber needs to redial the short code to renew the Offer. Registration onto any M4M offer is charged as per the cost indicated on USSD menu. You can register for any M4M that is made available to you at the time of dialling the short code (*530#). You will only be limited by the availability of your buckets.

NB: Internet Users can decide the best internet offers to choose from between MTN Ghana and Vodafone Ghana when the zone bundle is finally restored.

With MTN Zone Bundle, sometimes, 2.09 cedis can give you as 2gb of data.

With Vodafone M4M offer, 1.10 cedis can give you 1gb of data. These offers do change each day, either for the better or worse.
