UCC College of Distance Education (CoDE) Forms 2023/2024

The Management of CoDE-UCC would like to remind all Prospective Applicants that College of Distance Education  Sale of the following Application Forms are still in progress for 2023/2024 Academic Year.

The objectives for establishing College of Distance Education (CoDE) were to provide opportunities for people to pursue higher education, and train professional teachers for all levels of education in the Ghana Education Service.

Furthermore, it was to raise the professional competence of serving teachers and personnel of the Ghana Education Service, as well as accounting and management personnel in civil/public service, commerce and industry.

More important, CoDE aimed at providing opportunities creating  College of Distance Education for applicants who, though qualified for admission, could not have the opportunity to enter the conventional university system due to constraints in physical facilities.

DEPARTMENTS & UNITS

There are currently four academic departments in CoDE including that of arts and social sciences, mathematics and science, business studies and education studies. CoDE currently runs programmes in education, business, science and maths education, arts and social sciences leading to the award of diploma, post-diploma and master’s degrees.

Again, there are other functional offices and units that support the operations of the college.

POTENTIAL APPLICANTS

Holders of Bachelor of Education in Educational Psychology, Educational Foundations, Educational Psychology and Foundations, Basic Education, and other relevant degree in education.
