The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has officially opened its admissions portal for the 2026/2027 academic year, offering fresh opportunities for prospective students to pursue undergraduate, master’s, and PhD degrees.
The announcement, issued by the Directorate of Academic Affairs, confirms that the university is now accepting applications for various academic streams.

In a notice dated 7th April 2026, signed by the Head of Admissions, Diana Ama Dogbatse, the university detailed the specific intakes currently available:

The university has clarified that eligibility extends to a broad range of applicants:

The cost of the application E-voucher is set at GH¢220.00. Vouchers can be purchased at the following designated centers and banks nationwide:
UCC Designated Offices: The UCC Cashier’s Office (Cape Coast) and the University’s Accra Office at Tesano.
Postal Services: All regional and district branches of the Ghana Post Company Limited.
Participating Banks: GCB Bank, Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), Guaranty Trust Bank (GT Bank), Republic Bank Ghana, Zenith Bank Ghana, Prudential Bank Ghana, CalBank, National Investment Bank (NIB), OmniBSIC Bank, and Fidelity Bank Ghana, among others.

UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS PORTAL OPEN FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC YEAR
The University Community is hereby informed that the University’s Admissions Portal has been opened to receive applications for the following programmes:
i. Sandwich Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes for the 2026 Academic Year; and ii. Regular Undergraduate Programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
Candidates who will be writing the WASSCE in 2026 (awaiting results), as well as those who already possess WASSCE results, are eligible to apply.
E-Vouchers for online application are available for purchase at the following centres:
