Draw Process

The draw is open, meaning there are no seedings or country protection. Any team can be drawn against any other team. The Champions League quarter-final draw begins with eight balls, each containing the names of the quarter-finalist teams, being placed into a central bowl. Champions League Semi-Final Draw Procedure:

For the semi-final draw, four balls containing slips of paper labeled ‘Winners of quarter-final 1’ to ‘Winners of quarter-final 4’ are placed in the central bowl and shuffled. The first and second balls drawn from the bowl determine the first semi-final pairing, with the first ball representing the home team for the first leg of the semi-final. This process is repeated until all semi-final pairings are decided.

Quarter-final first legs are scheduled for 9th or 10th April 2024, with the second legs set for 16th or 17th April 2024. Semi-final first legs will be played on 30th April or 1st May 2024, followed by the second legs on 7th or 8th May 2024.
